This page will act as an active node of sharing and contributing in dissemination of GIS applications towards Cultural Heritage (tangible and intangibe) and in connection with other elements of history, nature, society, economy, sustainability and more...

For the beginning, there is information on the platform https://tinosdovecotes.gr/, delivered through a very small funding after competition, for supporting two projects I had the privilege to conceive, author and coordinate with Mr. Christos Artemis and KINONO-The Tinos Art Gathering AMKE.

Happy to share knowledge and cooperate in further developments and research/innovative projects.

AGREEN'SMART, an ERASMUS + KA2 project

AGreen’Smart is a project aiming to link the added-values gathered from the use of digital technologies in crop farming and animal husbandry (respectively precision agriculture and precision livestock farming), and related tools to valorize data (big data, geospatial technologies, artificial intelligence or robotics) and the mitigation and adaptation to climate change for a more sustainable agriculture, including economic, environmental and social challenges. 

AGreen’Smart will focus on the achievement of these environmental and climate-change goals (the “Green” part) through the use of digital technologies (the “Smart” part) in agriculture.

Currently, 5-16 June 2013, an intensive educational program on these technologies is running in Lille.
